After attending university in Michigan, I settled down in Chilliwack and am happily married to Judy. We have two beautiful daughters and are active in many associations and sports groups in the Fraser Valley. After a successful career working in Vancouver, I have learned a few creeds for success that I try to follow:
I have been fortunate enough to have had excellent training, worked for firms with ethics and I get great joy out of helping people.
Striving for success, working hard, building solid relationships and thinking outside the box have brought me a very rewarding life experience.
Born and raised in the Fraser Valley, I have been working in business for over15 years. I have been with Entrust Mortgage for over 11 years now and still continue to enjoy my work and find new challenges each day.
I am married with one daughter and enjoy traveling, riding motorcyle and puzzles!
Nismo loves long walks, coconut oil, the mail man, Mondays and napping. She often responds to 'Chicken' as she is afraid of air compressors, space heaters and kids. She is timid but very friendly and always happy to greet people.

I am a Master Skydiver and volunteer in all roles of theatre, providing me with diverse experience and training that contribute to my helping clients define their goals. And developing solutions to achieve them.
Service and integrity are my offerings as a mortgage planner, investment experience is a bonus.
My purpose is to earn your business by working hard for you, providing prompt service with solutions that meet your needs and desires. Let me help you achieve your real estate objectives today.
Although my personal relationships, business connections and banking sources are all an integral part of my life, I am well aware this can only be considered a starting point. In the end, the decision to use me as your mortgage consultant has to make financial sense. Can I negotiate better terms than your bank’s first renewal offer? Can I design innovative mortgage solutions for your financial circumstance? Can I reduce the stress and anxiety involved with securing a mortgage?
My goal is simple. I want to attract you as a client and obtain future referrals by demonstrating my business tenacity to bring the knowledge, skill and a trusting relationship you need.
With my experience in various senior manager and executive positions in the Federal Government, I have achieved a reputation of innovation, fiscal stewardship, negotiation, and partnership development within a bureaucratic environment. I have been granted national secret security clearance through the Federal Government of Canada so be assured all your confidential information is safe with me.
I have experience in the acquisition, financing and management of residential and recreational real estate in British Columbia. I continue to manage and grow my personal portfolio of owned and co-owned properties in several segments of the real estate market; single family residential homes, recreational property, commercial lease, and residential rental properties.
Proof is in the action but I am really excited for the opportunity to demonstrate my abilities in our future transactions together. Here are a few of the many lending services I provide:
As a mortgage consultant with Dominion Lending Centre I have access to over 55 lenders. I am paid a commission from the lending institution according to the volume and amount of the completed mortgage, so I have huge incentive to get the absolute best rate and terms for you. There are no costs for my services and I will always have your best interest in mind. Contact me to see what kind of savings and solutions are available for you.
Look forward to chatting with you soon.
From a young age, I was an entrepreneur and had an interest in real estate. I owned my first home by the time I was 20 and had tenants helping to pay my mortgage.
I worked at various positions within different cities for over 10 years. After getting married and having our 1st child, I realized that I wanted to be around home more. So in 2005 I decided to move on and become a mortgage broker. I love helping clients get into their first home, seeing investors have successful rental properties, and refinancing mortgages to help families to get more cash flow to make life easier. My strong ethical beliefs at working hard and getting the best mortgage product for my clients helps get many clients out of tough situations and also helps get the best mortgage product for them. I strongly believe in getting the best product for each client. The biggest satisfaction that I get is when my past clients call me for another mortgage or when they refer their friends and family to me.
"Knowledge is the key for effective decision making."
Whether you're purchasing a home for the first time, taking out equity from your home for investment or pleasure, or your current mortgage is simply up for renewal, it's important that you are making an educated buying decision with professional unbiased advice. I can show you how different rates, products and terms can effect the lifetime cost of your home and at no cost to you. With access to over 40 lenders, we can find a mortgage solution to fit your needs, not the lenders.
I look forward to hearing from you.....
Hi, my name is Don Freeman and I would like to take a minute to let you know who is working for you as your mortgage broker and what I bring to the table.
My past experience has come from a number of different areas, everything from selling R.V.’s and manufactured homes in my early and mid 20’s, to owning a party promotion business, an art store and an adventure company. As time has gone on one of my biggest hurdles was dealing with our banking system and the mystery behind why and how they make their decisions. As you know they either love you or hate you and even when they love you, you have to be careful that you are getting the best deal for you and not the best deal for the bank. When they hate you there is rarely a good explanation of where things are going wrong and even rarer is the advice on how to fix it.
After being self employed for a number of years I decided I wanted to try something completely different and wanted to do something where I could help people and make a living doing it. It was on that note that I applied at CIBC and started my banking experience. As they say, if you can’t beat them join them.
Working for CIBC I was promoted fairly quickly as I was strong at building relationships with clients, problem solving and growing business in positions they had been previously having trouble with. I had worked my way up to Business Advisor, a position where I had a portfolio of only self employed people. I then realized I wanted to expand my experience and education to the credit union side of things to see what the differences where and how they were set up as opposed to the bank. Envision Credit Union was anxious to bring me on board.
I worked at Envision as a Personal Account Manager working on mortgages and loans and spent enough time there to take their commercial lending and mortgage courses. Through doing this I then realized that what I really wanted to do was become a broker. I wanted the freedom to help people as much as possible and I wanted the options that would come with that freedom. Now if one bank doesn’t like the mortgage I’m working on I have a vast amount of other banks and mortgage companies I can approach. These other banks and mortgage companies may have different guidelines because as many of us know, every bank has its own set of rules.
I am now on my fifth year of brokering with over 7 years of mortgage experience and I have never looked back! Due to my past experiences I now come with the internal knowledge of the banks and credit unions and the flexibility and understanding of how to make even the hardest deals make sense. Not to mention in most cases, the exception being private mortgages, I am a FREE service. The bank pays me! Not only that, but I am paid on the volume and the amount of the mortgage, not on the interest rate. Because of this, I am always looking for the BEST products and interest rates to suit your needs.
I appreciate you taking the time to read through my little story and appreciate you choosing me to be your mortgage broker now, and in the future. Unlike a banker who may change positions or banks, I am always your mortgage broker, and I always work for you and your best interests!
After enjoying a career in the ballroom dance business in both Canada and the U.S., I settled back into British Columbia, Canada, and then got my administrative business degree. I then joined Remax in 1987 in the Kelowna area, and enjoyed 13 years as a very active real estate agent.
I enjoyed that career immensely; but found that the one part of the entire real estate process that was very often the most stressful to the clients was "the financing stage". This was the #1 determinant of success or failure in most cases. So in 1998 I decided to specialize in that area of the real estate, and became a mortgage broker.
I now work to assist clients in getting through that sometimes stressful and sometimes very difficult part of the process of buying a home - the financing. One of the things that I like best about being a mortgage broker is that my success is directly related to the successful outcome achieved for my clients. That is a great motivator, and leads to a "win-win" outcome.
I have been serving Chilliwack as mortgage broker Chilliwack for 13 years. I started as a mortgage broker in 2002, with Mortgage Corp in Vancouver which subsequently joined Invis. I later joined Dominion near its inception.
I have a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of New Brunswick. After graduating from UNB I worked for a tax law publishing company in Ottawa. I left that to purse a real estate career and joined NRS Block Brothers and then Remax.
I’m married, have two children. One attends UVIC and the other is in Highroad Academy.

Jason is passionate about four things, his family and friends, his work, the Vancouver Canucks, and the Boston Red Sox! These passions are reflected in everything he does.
Jason has been in the lending industry since 2003. Along with his formal education in the mortgage and lending industry from UBC, he also holds a Diploma in Marketing Management.
Jason prides himself on having a vast knowledge of the mortgage industry from first time home buyers to large commercial lending. His dedication to his clients has allowed him to help people move forward in the many facets of their lives. His knowledge also includes ridiculous, obscure facts about the Vancouver Canucks.
Long ago Jason learned that trust, loyalty, and respect are the foundation of all strong relationships. Jason’s dedication to relationship and team building, passion for the lending industry, and commitment to ethics help him to provide his clients the best solution for them.
When Jason is not helping his clients you will find him discussing how he could make the Canucks better, or at a Mariners game letting everyone know how much better the Red Sox are than the Mariners. Not only does Jason love his work…he loves enjoying life!

...Remember I work for YOU not the banks...
Finding a mortgage broker is a relatively easy task. The hard part, however, is finding one that can provide home loan programs that suit your personal needs. You need a mortgage broker you can trust to act in your best interest. With approximately 40 exclusive lending sources, I am the final word in the mortgage industry.
I understand how critical it is to get professional direction during this very important and often stressful decision-making process. I like to pride myself on customer satisfaction by earning your relationship and by fulfilling your financial needs. It is for this very reason I thrive in such a vast, unforgiving industry. As someone that earns a majority of business by referral, I believe this is testimony to how I conduct my work. Other companies do not establish this type of relationship and are only concerned about remembering your account number.
I want you to be my client for life. By offering the best possible rates with minimal cost to you, I want to insure that you will return for my services. It is my goal to keep you informed every step of the way and to provide you with the confidence and assurance you need in knowing that your transaction is being processed professionally and expeditiously.
I was born and raised here in Chilliwack and I’m very proud to call this beautiful town home. The last 28 years I have worked for one of the “Big Banks” and the last 13 years helping clients buy a home, refinance or switch their mortgages. Frustrated with the amount of clients who wanted more than one option, I decided to become a Mortgage Broker and join this fine team.
I’m a “people person” and really enjoy meeting clients and helping them with their mortgage needs. Whether you’re a First Time Homebuyer, a repeat buyer or you’re looking to refinance or switch your mortgage, I’m here to help you make the right choice.
In addition to having 17 years of business negotiating experience, I also have close relationships with an extensive network of lenders who are committed to working closely with me to provide you with a custom mortgage strategy that is tailor made to suit your specific requirements.
Whether you are buying your first home, upgrading, refinancing, renovating, building or investing. I understand this can be a confusing and stressful time, but I will lead you through this process every step of the way.
I believe in providing prompt, professional service, doing what’s right for my clients every time. My personalized service is second to none.
As child of a military family, Terri has lived all over Canada, but chose to settle in Chilliwack and has been here for over 30 years. A single parent most of her two daughters’ lives, she is now a proud Gramma of two.
Terri brings over 20 years of financial experience, specializing in mortgage lending, to the firm. During her long career at a local credit union, Terri gained experience in many areas, including wealth management and training of staff, but her first love is lending. During the last six years of her career at the credit union, she worked in the credit department , sharing her lending skills by writing a lending manual, assisting with the development of new products and services, including point-of-sale financing at car dealerships and piloting the Mortgage Broker Centre, assisting branches with structuring challenging deals and approving higher-dollar mortgages and loans for the branches.
Now as an independent mortgage specialist, Terri is happy to work directly with her friends and clients, and invites you to give her a call at 604-819-7708.
